1 Peter 1:7-8*
7 so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ. 8 Though you have not seen him, you love him. Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory.
Trials Yield Indisputable Character
May be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ;—v 7c
Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.—1 Cor. 3:13

Though you have not seen Him, you love Him, and though you do not see Him now, but believe in Him —v 8a

You greatly rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory, 9obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.—v 8b
