Claim of the Redeem
I. Claim of God’s Approbation
- And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the Garden of Eden—Genesis 2:15
- There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.—Romans 8:1
- Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.—John 5:24
- Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is already condemned, because he has not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.—John 3:18
- We know that we have passed from death to life, because we love our brothers. The one who does not love remains in death.—1 John 3:14
II. Claim of God’s Affluence
- To dress it and to keep it— Genesis 2:15
- And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed. 9And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food—Genesis 2:8-9
- “You were in Eden, the garden of God; Every precious stone was your covering: The ruby, the topaz and the diamond; The beryl, the onyx and the jasper; The lapis lazuli, the turquoise and the emerald; And the gold, the workmanship of your settings and sockets, Was in you. On the day that you were created They were prepared.—Ezekiel 28:13
III. Claim of God’s Accolade
- And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.— 2:16-15
- “His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave. You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.—Matthew 25:23
- Whoever is faithful with very little will also be faithful with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.—Luke 16:10
